Can I combine Thermage with other treatments such
as Botox or fillers?
It is possible to combine treatments that this can be inadvisable
sometimes as it can confuse which treatment has caused which effect.
Therefore it is best to discuss such possible combinations or other
treatments at the time of your consultation before embarking on
Thermage.
Does my skin colour or type matter?
Unlike laser which depends on a pigment to absorb the energy, Thermage
uses radio frequency electric current. This is absorbed by all skin
types and colours with a similar action. The only variation is how
well the skin and body transmit electricity. Skin colour has no effect
at all on Thermage.
Is Thermage expensive?
Thermage is one of the more expensive non-invasive treatments
available in medical aesthetic clinics. The specialised tip, the time
taken and the training of the operator or mean that if done properly,
it cannot be done cheaply. However compared to surgery, Thermage is
certainly not expensive.
Therefore, in view of the results that they can obtain, Thermage is
well priced compared to its effectiveness.
